Woman receives house arrest for stealing money from employer

A 30-year-old woman who repaid most of the money she stole from her employer near Kearney has been given six months of house arrest. Christina Srack pleaded guilty in March to stealing over $100,000 from the State Bank of Riverdale between July 2007 and August 2008. Says she was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Lincoln. She was also ordered to serve a day in federal custody, five years of probation and to pay $2,100 more. The bank discovered the loss in 2008. Srack was indicted in 2011.
