Debates scheduled in Senate race

Republican Deb Fischer and Democrat Bob Kerrey will meet two more times for debates, nearly back-to-back appearances in their race for United States Senate.
Fischer says she enjoyed the debate at the State Fair in Grand Island and looks forward to scheduled debates in Omaha and Lincoln. Democrat Bob Kerrey says three debates aren't enough. The Omaha Chamber of Commerce and KETV will sponsor a debate on September 28th. NET sponsors the debate between the two on October 1st.
